Niiobli has over 15 years of experience in grass-roots community engagement, public health, and issues surrounding race and social justice. He is known for his deep, intensive work unpacking equity and creating programs, communications, and training to help organizations make equity and inclusion core values.
Niiobli is a graduate of the Southern University Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy with a BA in Political Science and a MA in Social Science. He also holds an Executive Certificate in Community Health Leadership from the Morehouse School of Medicine and is the co-founder of the Houston Black Leadership Institute. In his spare time, Niiobli enjoys all things “inner work” including: meditation, breathwork, and indigenous healing technologies.

What keeps me up at night
The private sector and government came together to go the moon, to build AI, and to create other technological and life saving breakthroughs. But these same systems struggle to ensure Black and Brown kids have the resources they need to thrive in our educational, economic, judicial, and social systems.
My superpower
I know how to fully see and hear people; not sure if it is a superpower, but it is definitely a gift.
