Samia approaches racial equity through the lens of organizational change and leadership development, with a specialization in change management within philanthropic organizations. Samia has extensive experience in project management, management consulting, and equity training in multiple industries, and has led national policy and advocacy projects impacting children and families. She also brings expertise as a creative director to the team, which gives her the ability to translate complex concepts of equity into design forward digital resources.
Samia holds an MBA from Rice University’s School of Management with an emphasis in social entrepreneurship and nonprofit consulting. She is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate to children navigating the foster system. When she is not working, Samia is on the hunt for a new skill to learn. Whether it's biking, painting, or sewing, she loves immersing herself into new hobbies.
